Timelines vary by scope but if you're doing a simple brochure site, I can typically have it done in about a week.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
The simple answer is yes. The reality is that it depends on the type of site I build. To update a site yourself, you need a CMS. CMS projects take longer and there could be more costs involved. I find that the average business owner would rather have me update the site for them.
